The High Hurdles Therapeutic Riding Program was established in 1997 by a dedicated committee of parents, educators, and professionals committed to providing therapeutic riding experiences for children with developmental disabilities. Since our humble beginnings with a single borrowed horse and facility, we’ve grown significantly. Today, we operate from our own location, with 10 horses, and serve up to 40 riders each week. This incredible progress would not be possible without the generous support of our volunteers, who give their time and energy each day to help make our program a success.
